Description:

Michigan Scientific’s TR3D-A round Three Axis Load Cells measure forces and loads in three perpendicular directions. Available in 4,4kN, 13,3kN, 22kN and 44kN capacities, these rugged transducers are ideally suited for both field data acquisition and laboratory testing.

The 3K, 5K and 5/5/10K models are made of high grade stainless steel material. The 1K model is made of high grade aluminum. These materials combine to provide excellent resistance to corrosion and environmental conditions. A weatherproof seal keeps dust and elements out of the unit. Temperature compensation of the transducers ensure stable output throughout a wide temperature range. In addition, the transducers are configured for easy adaptation to a variety of applications.

Installation

The force is introduced thru 1 central thread M12 on the upper surface of the sensor. The compact dimensions facilitate integration either by modification of existing parts or the design of specific mounting flanges. TR3D-A is powered over a voltage supply of 2.5 to 10VDC, the output signal is 4mV / V for each of the 3 axes. A cable of 3.05m and a calibration certificate are included. Optional signal conditioning and acquisition modules are available.
